A Lost Yak Gold Service really is the mother of all services! We totally disassemble your bike, carefully clean, degrease and inspect each component, then re assemble it adding the grease and all things good to get your bike riding better than it ever has done before.

Our gold service is suitable for road bikes, mountain bikes and all electric bikes (prices do vary for each) If you would like your full suspension mountain bike linkage totally stripped down into individual bits, bearings replaced and rebuilt, this is the service for you.

E bike riders! While stripping down your e bike we inspect all of your electrical connectors for any damage or wear and with a SRAM, Shimano or Bosch equiped bike, provide you with a full and detailed manufacturer’s service report along with full diagnostics and resolutions to error codes.

What’s Included for your £110/ £135 (Full Suspension Bikes):

  • Collection and delivery optional, However most Gold Services can be carried out at your home

  • Bike fully cleaned and degreased

  • Complete bike frame and component inspection (required replacement parts can usually be identified and quoted for while you wait so you know what to expect)

  • All components are removed, inspected, re greased and then carefully re assembled

  • Wheels straightened and rims inspected, tubeless tires are inspected for any sealant loss

  • Hubs totally stripped down and re greased

  • Brakes inspected adjusted cables/pads replaced if necessary, hydraulic brakes can be bled if necessary

  • Gears inspected adjusted and cables replaced if necessary

  • Bottom Bracket usually removed inspected and re greased

  • Chain along with all drivetrain parts removed thoroughly degreased and replaced if necessary

  • Headset removed, adjusted and re-greased

  • Any suspension components removed, cleaned and inspected for oil leaks and correct setup is ensured (we will be happy to guide you through suspension set up)

  • Handle bar tape is replaced if necessary

  • Next ride satisfaction guarantee

  • Note any replacement parts are not included in the price of a service but we can provide all road, mtb and e-bike components, most service items are always in stock

Full Suspension Linkage Service at an extra £25 (£135 total)

  • All of the above

  • Each individual pivot point is dismantled cleaned, re greased and bearings/bushings/linkage bolts are replaced if necessary.

E Bike diagnostics at an extra £10:

  • Plug in diagnostics, error code resolutions and full service report

  • For a full suspension e bike Gold service we charge £145 with diagnostic report/ error code resolution or for a hardtail Gold service we charge £120
